Summary 0000398: The problem in the ADC
Description - The problem in the ADC
  The problem happened twice. The first one happened at about UT09:30,25/02 in the band6
  (see 11201371). The second happened at about UT 20:32, 26/02 in the band7. When the problem
  happened, all ampls of the cross correlations and all TPs dropped out in the band both at X and
  at Y. There were no error messages and warnings (at least in the second case).

The problem occured again in ADC6 round midnight 6/7 march.
It turned out that the Real Time System of ADC 6 was broken.

I assigned this issue to Sjouke who has more insight in the RT unit.

About the Problem on the ADC06 and ADC07:
  Last night at about UT 23:50 the problem happened at the ADC6 and ADC7 during the observation of
  R12A/008/J131130+4620(11201595). The ampls of all cross correlation dropped out in band6 and band7.
  After stopped the observation and rebooted the DZB, it failed to connected to the real time system of the
  ADC6(the ADC7 is ok after rebooting the DZB). It was also failed to solve the ADC6 problem by re-set it
  (switch off the power supply and switch on again on the ADC6). This morning Sjouke and Juergen came
  here and found the real time system of ADC6 was broken. Sjouke has done the following maintenance
  with the help from Klaas:
 (1) The broken real time system DAR06 of ADC6 has been replaced by the spare one DAR30.
 (2) Klaas made a new kernel for the DAR30.
 (3) The control board of the ADC6 has been swapped with the control board of ADC5.
  Now the WSRT works again. The WSRT only missed 1h fringe test for 6cm VLBI and started 6cm VLBI
  at UT 15:00.
