Data has been exported by hand and converted to uvfits without first running j2convert. This has been done on opsinspect, in directory /data/schoenma/r10a-023. All UVF files have been packed in a big tarfile, and put on the ftp site. Sent the following mail to the PIs: Dear Dr. A. Schoenmakers, Thanks. We began to download the file on June 08. This task is rather time-consuming due to the big data file and the slow connection speed. It may cost another two days. As soon as we finish the task we'll let you know. Best wishes, Junduo Li From: Arno Schoenmakers Sent: Tuesday, June 08, 2010 3:52 AM To: lijunduo@bao.ac.cn Cc: Gyula Jozsa Subject: Fwd: Your WSRT project R10A/023 Dear Dr. Junduo Li, I have converted your data of project R10A-023 to UVFits format. You can retrieve the files from the ASTRON ftp server: ftp.astron.nl - login as ''anonymous'' and provide your email address as password - Go to directory outgoing/wsrt/R10A-023 - retrieve the file R10A-023.UVF.tar The file contains all the UVFits files. Unpack it with ''tar -xf R10A-023.UVF.tar''. The data of the main observation has been split in two different frequency groups: FM0 and FM1. Please let us know when you have retrieved the data successfully, so we can delete it from the ftp-site. If you have further questions, you can contact Dr. G. Jozsa at ASTRON. I wish you good luck with your data! Dr. A. Schoenmakers WSRT Software Group, ASTRON >>> Arno Schoenmakers 2-6-2010 22:52 >>> Dear Dr. Junduo Li You have tried to export the data belonging to your WSRT project R10A/023. The data was taken in a special mode where the moon was the reference frame for the observations. Unfortunately, our standard export pipeline is not able to handle such special observations and produced some error messages. We could export the data for this project manually so it will become available to you on our ftp site. As this requires manual intervention from our side this may take somewhat more time. We apologize for any inconvenience caused by this. With kind regards, Dr. A. Schoenmakers, WSRT software group ASTRON Dwingeloo, The Netherlands |

Dear Dr. A. Schoenmakers, We have retrieved the data and unpacked it successfully. Due to the instable transmissions, the work cost many days. Thanks a lot.
