Summary 0000417: Albert Bos has changed the DZB software in such a way that RT5 is not addressed any more in the IVC.
Description In September the RT5 section of the IVC was used to get several spare parts.
Therefore the power supply was switched off.
Albert found out that this slows down the system, and that huge log files
were produced on the waw04.
He made a new software version that does not communicate with IVC-RT5 anymore.
The monitoring however remains unchanged, so error states of RT5 will still be displayed.
The software will become active after issuing the 'start_dzb_tst' command.
To go back to the old version use 'start_dzb'
Additional Information Next year when more RT's will be going to apertif, the same change should be
made by Albert for those particular telescopes, so that more spare parts from the IVC can become available.
